Marketing Secrets

Marketing, as I am sure you’re well aware, is the holy-grail of business practice. You’re more likely to get the blood out of a stone than get a company to spill all the details on their views on marketing and advertising. Yes, they’ll tell you a version of the truth, but it will have been edited to the extent that it’s more a distant cousin of the source material than a direct representation. Which begs the question–why should they have to tell the consumer the most intimate details of the practice? It’s a fair point. It’s a personal thing and something which is unique to each and every business.

But hang on a second–maybe we deserve to know something. The Enigin people get this and their way of handling this tricky issue is to frequently release details of their thoughts on marketing the future of their company, and how you can improve your own techniques. Best of all, this information is tied into their ethos of marketing without burning our planet even more.

Marketing doesn’t have to be top-secret, if you ask me. I don’t want to know how a company runs every single aspect of their business, but it is nice to know the fundamental ideas—what steers the company and controls their decision-making process. By telling us this I am willing to believe more, and isn’t that the thing? Belief breeds a little more trust, and that means we are moving forward, not standing still.
